He was the OG on the old Colts. I was fortunate to own one in the 80’s and stupid enough to get rid of it at some point.

Not the prettiest with the curved heel or the crimson trace laser grips but I traded a lawnmower for it. And no, not a real nice mower either. Think I paid $600 for the mower
One of the all-time greats - the ultimate combat pistol!
However, it is difficult to master in NRA Precision Pistol competition, shooting one handed at 50 yards slow fire and 25 yards time and rapid, even with target ammo. I sure wish the NRA would arrive in the 21 century and allow 2 handed hold in Precision Pistol Competition. After all the Lord gave us 2 hands so why not use them.
