Hammond 6mm bullets for Dasher

Hello,

I'd like to get the background on these bullets I just bought, for $60 total. The original price on the boxes!
Wanting to shoot them in a 6 dasher out to 300 yards or so and maybe a 243 to see how fast it will go. Shooting steel and varmint's, nothing serious just for fun.
I haven't found any load data for these weights. Any recommendations on where to start, powder and weight?

Thanks
Robert

I'd guess 15-18 years old?

edit - WAY longer than 15-18 yrs. I didn't catch those were 1,000 ct. boxes till I zoomed in. Looks like someone already sorted them by base-to-ogive measurement or OAL. Nice find.

Clarence was a real gentleman. Those bullets were designed for short range BR generally out to 300 yards, predominatly 100-200, in cartridges such as the 6x47 Rem and the 6mm PPC. Most were 12-14 twist barrels. ALOT at 14) No reason you can't shoot them for 300 in the Dasher. It is likely your twist is faster.

BTW, I'd have paid way more for those. Someone basically gave them to you to carry away. Comparable bullets now go for $300 per, or more.
