I never hunted them but this last spring I picked several just walking down the 200 yard range berm. Took thrm home and sautéed them with some Venison stew. First morels I've ever tasted.

Hodgson did a promotion a while back that you could get 4 bottles like that, of different powders, so you could try them and figure which ones worked best for your cartridge. It came with Varget, H4350, H4831, and H1000. Or 4198, 322, Benchmark, and 4895.

I remember those small bottles. You could buy them so you could experiment with different powders and not have to buy a pound.
