Could somebody tell me little more about this powder, I’m thinking about trying it in 6ppc rifle just wasn’t for sure where to start (powder charge).I’ve shot the extreme version before, just didn’t know how it compares to the extreme.

I'm sure someone will chime in before I get back, but I'll check it out.
I was going to say I remember my older manuals like my Speer No. 11 I think it is
Are not so conservative on Max charges
The older manuals always listed higher charges for max
Don't know if that's more for lawyer reasons or if something else changed
I would suspect you're ok to use recent manuals for that powder
as a starting workup charge

Here is some info from 2 manuals published in 1987
I went further back to the 70's but it did not even list H322 as a powder to select from
-----------------------
I think the info of using 222Mag if no info is provided is safe to start with
I use 23.0 grns for a 222 Rem if that helps any.

If your pictured bottle is what you're asking about, it's a '93 lot made in Australia by ADI. The previous "good" lots were made in Scotland until early '90s sometime. As I remember, the Aussie powder wouldn't give the same speeds as the Scottish with full case, so it fell out of favor for the PPC somewhat. New H322 is still made in Oz by ADI so I would imagine the difference between new/old would be on the order of lot to lot variation. I snagged a few pounds of the extreme stuff at the start of the coof debacle, but haven't opened them yet, so have no real comparison for you. Start at start, work up carefully, & you should be OK.

Was the powder sealed & stored in cool dry place? After 30+ years it could matter more than you think.

Yes, it’s sealed and was stored in controlled environment. I had a day to play with and it seemed to shoot ok, just need to mess with it some more. I shot these targets with 28.4gr/Barts ultras, the wind was tough and had me guessing.

322 aka AR2206 was reformulated some years ago to AR2206H and became H4895.

AR2206/H322 remains around the IMR 3031 burn rate - although I'm not sure that we still get it. Used to be popular in the 308 with 144 military pills, when Mulwex AR2201 was discontinued. 2201 was dreadful stuff - temperature unstable - so a great choice for the Aussie Army (NOT) but shot well in the '08 if you kept the ammo cool. Usually under the car or in a chilly bin until your turn on the mound.

You are probably good with the starting loads plus a bit, if the powder is in good condition - otherwise, your lawn will appreciate the nitrogen.
