H2O capacity for different brands of 300winmag

I am looking for information from those that have taken H2O measurements for case volume on their brands of 300winmag brass. I have a 300 now but only 1 brand of brass, that and I am away from home right now, and I need the info for an upcoming barrel. I am looking to be able to take full advantage of what the 300 has to offer but if quickload is correct there are huge variations in case volume for 300 winmag brass. And brand info works. I am planning on putting all my info together on the 300 once this project is done. I am trying to get performance that I get from a 28 inch barrel using brass with what is supposedly the worst case capacity to match that of a 22" barrel with the best case capacity. According to quickload it can be done but I need to know what brand has the most case capacity. My rem brass hits pressure at 76.5 grains when I worked up a load last.

Brands I would like are federal, norma, nosler, RWS, winchester, remington. Also if there are any other brass manufacturers for 300 winmag please speak up.

I've spent the last year playing with all of those flavors of brass. I haven't done the H20 test on any of them. But I can tell you we weighed some of it while working loads.

RWS seems to have significantly lower case volume than the others. We backed the charge down about 4 or 5 grains to equalize it.

I wouldn't even consider loading anything but Norma or RWS at this point. We spent the last 3 months thinking one of the guns was just an MOAish shooter until we got GOOD brass. (Norma and RWS)

Now this factory REM 700 5R doesn't shoot any of our loads bad. It's stunning how much time and powder and barrel wear we WASTED trying to make that garbage brass shoot.

The other disappointing brass was Black Hills Match. It actually doesn't shoot too bad, but the primer pockets are silly loose after two loadings. After the 3rd loading, they're in the scrap bucket.

Not sure who makes their brass, but it's classic Black Hills falling short again.

I had a problem with federal brass when I first starting loading for the 28" 300 I shoot now. It shot amazing but I only had what came with a box of factory and it wore out rather fast. I think on the 3rd loading primer pockets were noticeable looser but not to bad yet so I shot them that last set and called it quits with the federal. My remington brass that I bough since has much less case capacity so I am looking at what other brands would be better. I think I had about a 4 grain difference between the federal and remington.

I'm not sure if neck turning would have helped the WIN brass or not... but we were so disgusted with it after trying good brass, we weren't looking back.
