H1000 substitute

My current load for the 300 WM is 212g ELD-X, FC brass (military' headstamp 93), BR-2, 75.4g of H1000. Velocity is at 2910 f/s. Very accurate load in my rebarreled Sendero. I'm getting a slight powder crunch this this load. What would be a good substitute for H1000 with less case capacity?
I also load long at 3.510" total cartridge length and only single load.

Is a little crunch a bad thing? I don't think so.
Even loaded long I bet your bullets are seated below the neck-shoulder juncture and you're hearing/feeling the base hit the powder. My favorite 300WM load is 77 grains Retumbo with a 230 OTM Berger loaded to AICS mag length. Powder crunches there and it shoots great.
Now, not forgetting your original question, if you want something that can give equal performance with less volume you might try IMR4350. I used it with great results when I shot the 190 SMK in 300WM. The 190 was hitting just over 3,000FPS with not pressure signs.

Most Enduron powders use slightly lower charges but they actually take up more case volume.
I would think unless he just wants a similar replacement due to availability then he should stay with H1000.

It was about 1 grain less for same velocity when I tested it.

Yes, they make a substantial difference, especially with a slow/swirl pour. MTM and some other accessories makers do multi-calibre kits with IIRC a four-inch drop-tube that slots in between as needed. I prefer the multi-calibre Forster funnel with its 5.25-inch drop tube.

This is 27gn Viht N150 in Lapua 223 Rem brass. On the left a standard fastish pour through a 'regular' funnel; on the right a slow slightly angled/swirl pour through the Forster funnel.

RL25 would work great for you. It’s my go to powder in my 300wm and 210 gr bullets. Of course, that’s hard to find too...
