H V 100 powder

I've had a couple pounds of HV !00 for a while which I bought at a good price but never worked with it until recently. It did produce excellent accuracy at a grain or so above IMR 4350 loads albeit at the magic 2600 + fps range in the .30-06. I would be cautious trying to achieve high velocity with it by way of adding powder. The load I used in the 30-06 was 54 grains with the Speer FB Mag tip 180 grain, < 1/2 MOA. c/c, 56 grains = 2700 fps & 0ne MOA.

During the H4350 Shortage last time. I created loads for it and used it alot in a 6XC sized case. Has worked very well for me also.

It's also a good powder if you don't want your barrel to burn out as quick.

I used it in 260, 6.5x55, and 6.5 cm when h4350 was unavailable. It shot just about the same although it is more temperature sensitive. Reportedly burns cooled and should be easier on throats.
