I was thinking of 260 AI ,6dasher or possibly 6xc if I change to a different cartridge
The 260 and 6XC begin at the warming range when it comes to overbore. The Dasher is within the cool range and besides, the Dasher has proven to be laser at numerous diatances. Just keep in mind, 6 Dasher and 6XC brass "might" be limited acquisitions at this time however, I see plenty of 260 brass out there and specifically Lapua as long as you do a "thorough" search. Of course, the other two can be fireformed as well. I have a buddy who did very well with just flat 260Rem.
At least, these selections won't have you setting aside you tax refund for barrel replacement each year.

So I recrowned the barrel, and am in process of bedding the action Hopefully it'll shoot if not I'll rebarrel it
