About this deal I got the other day. I am always looking for a bargin, so i was in this small pawn shop. I noticed they had this hunting rifle on the floor with a bipod on it and a huge scope of some kind.
I asked the clerk if I could see it the price was 799.99. The rifle looked to have never been shot it was a Remington model 700 BDL 30-06. Not something I would really want. The scope though was a Leupold Mark 4 8.5-25x50mm LR/T M1 Illuminated Reticle Long Range Tactical Rifle Scope. I could not believe my eyes. I asked the guy calnly "what would you take for the scope without the gun"? He said gun has to go with scope. I said tell you what I will give you 600 right now for the gun and scope. He said nope, he'd have to get the boss.
I was nervous a little but I kept my cool. The boss said 600 huh? No I will have to have 750. I said I will spit it with you and give you 675. He said 700 and I said sold.
Best buy I ever made.
Anyone here in the market for a nice never shot Remington 700 BDL 30-06 for 700? LOL
Oh yeah I almost forgot I am going to drop that scope on my Savage 110 308 tactical.
