Gunsmithing screwdriver set

I've had a few different sets over the years but none of them have been as complete as I want. None of them fit as nicely as I would like either. I've even custom ground a few for the things I do the most..... So, when it comes to screwdrivers or screw tip sets.... Which one is the best? What do you guys use?

I bought some Matco tools years back. If you look at one of the tool manufacturers catalogs it surprising how much they have.

I was never happy with store bought...I bought a bunch of the old square shaft screwdrivers and ground my own tips to fit certain screws/guns . I would do mostly hollow ground . I then would heat treat them ,after they are glass hard you can temper them back to any hardness you desire.

I have sets from Chapman, B-Square and my personal favorite, Wheeler Engineering. Wheeler's is the most complete set I have found so far. They stay at home in the shop and the other two are in their designated range boxes for on-the-spot repairs and adjustments.

I like my magna-tip set from Brownells but the plastic box lid drives me nuts because it won't stay open on it's own.

Brownells magna-tip set is my go to at home and was well worth the investment. I also have a small set of Chapmans that keep in my range box. I highly recommend both.

Definitely the Brownells Magna Tip Master set. I've had one for about 15 years of hard use and it's still excellent.
Just picked up another Master set 2 years ago with an estate reloading room buyout. The second set was basically unused and is generally much thinner than the first. Now I use them both to fit whatever I need.

The other thing that I really like is that Brownells replaces the tips in the Master Set for free when they get chewed up or break. Just recently shattered 2- #1 thickness bits (thinnest in the set) during a very dirty 12 Ga Holland & Holland teardown. Time to call in the next parts order so I can tell the clerk to add a few replacements. I haven't noticed anywhere to request this during online orders. I'm sure they've sent me a dozen or so thus far.

I got the Brownell's Magna Tip starter set many years ago & evidently haven't needed to complete. Hmm...

GRACE. large assortment of tip sizes, blades are parallel ground, comfortable wood handles.
Pistol set for narrow ,shallow screws slots
, the standard 8 piece set for bigger stuff. Not over priced either.
