Gunshops in the Midwest

I am embarking on another driving vacation to the American Mid West from Canada. Can anyone recommend some nice big gunshops with lots of stock in the following cities: Detroit, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Memphis, Cincinnati and Dayton.

Whittaker Guns just outside of Owensboro Ky. supposedly the largest privately owned gunshop east of the mississippi. I get down there from time to time, they pretty much have it all. Nice thing is everything is out in the open just take guns right out of the rack even high dollar Dakota's no bodys bothering you unless you want help.

When our country consisted of 13 states, at that time, it actually was the midwest. Times have changed, but unfortunately, the name remains the same to some.

Grafs in St Charles MO, is just west of ST Louis. It is a nice store. More geared to reloading, but worth the trip.

Bass Pro Headquarters is in Springfield, MO Its about 3-4 hours SW of St Louis.

Cabelas in Hazelwood Mo has a few. They usually have a nice selection of used guns and also new ones. Decent reloading section.

After 2400 miles of driving, I'm back. Thanks for all the leads fella's! Bass Pro is almost the same as we have up here except with handguns. Whittaker's was too far out of the way of our planned route but I'll try that again some day. Checked out "Guns & Ammo" in Nashville that was very nice. Large selection of firearms and equipment. I even found a holster for a discontinued pistol that was a pleasant surprise! Had to do the Graceland tour while in Memphis. Did you know Elvis was quite the firearms enthusiast? Anyway, Thanks again, I love your country and I'm glad we're friendly neighbors!
