Here in California we can buy all the dope we want but now need a license to buy ammo. It's embarrssing how stupid people are.

I was in Walmart the other day and out of all the ammo they had there was only one box of non lead center fire. Our new law bans internet sales so where is one to find ammo to hunt ?
Obviously I don't shoot factory stuff but you get the picture. We also banned plastic bags....

Thats the underlying agenda! No ammo soooo don't need guns. Dont have to ban guns outright to eliminate them. Just throw SO many laws at you, you can't possibly look at a gun without breaking a law!

Winters won't likely be as nice in Omaha as they were in San Diego...and I can't legally toke up a big phattie (which I wouldn't anyhow), but at least I won't have to deal with the ammunition/reloading hassles my friends and former neighbors in CA are going to experience. I think I got pulled from the liberal waters just in the nick of time. Hopefully, it won't be too painful for anyone. If it is, you soon will have legal access to an herbaceous panacea of peace and forgetfulness .

And I imagine after selling the CA homestead and buying one in NB you'll have lots of $ left for guns and ammo

Il. years back and still does have a FOID Card.
When I lived there in the 8o's You had to place your FOID Card in the counter to even talk of ask a question. To buy anything Gun or reloading related , your card info. was written in a Log Book .
Today Cook County around Chicago you can not mail order Ammo Powder etc. to your house.

I now live in the free Land of Oregon eek. We have Sportsman's , the parking lot is full Washington State Cars and trucks. This do to the Tax on Ammo in Washington .
I would think California cars and truks will be next? The Free Land of Oregon will soon pass these laws here.

I read full text of Cal prop 63 and law change today. It repeatedly refers to "ammunition" as governed by this law. At one place only it says "ammunition and reloaded ammunition". I think it is pretty clear that components are not addressed. --Jerry

My son lives in CA, my sister in VA, my brothers in CT and NY and my best friend and shooting buddy in MA. I've "jokingly"(maybe, maybe not) told them that we're going to sell CA, VA, CT, NY and MA to Mexico to help pay for the wall. Haven't given up on NH yet, it was very close, but I sure miss living in ND.
