Gun insurance

I did a search about this before posting, but did not come up with the info I wanted to know. I am in the process of updating my "Sporting Goods" rider policy. I have a list, model, serial #, condition, value. I was just thinking about privacy of the records. Could this just be handing over the info for a national gun registry? I am not as hard core about gun rights as some "pry from my cold ...." However I made a half dozen phone calls and 2 dozen plus emails to my representatives this last winter. I actually thought we where going to loose a lot of rights. Very glad it did not work out that way.
Does anyone know about the privacy of the list I give to the insurance company?

Not sure how much it really matters because if a law was passed where I had to registrer each weapon, after much complaining I would comply. I have this program that "demands rigorous honesty"

Based on what I've read about privacy protection laws, there are no privacy rules that prevent governments from accessing liability insurance records.
Just another reason why a lot of us subscribe to the " "pry from my cold ...." philosophy.

The NRA is one of the best places to buy firearm insurance and they aren't exactly sleeping with the politicians.

Check with you county Farm Bureau agent. Mine is not all that expensive. $50 deductible and it covers everything, even if I drop it in the lake, if I loose it, or is just flat dissappears. I dropped my hunting rifle down the concrete stairs going to my basement once. They paid for a new stock and scope to repair it.
