JUst picked up a savage fclass with a 30 on barrel. what cases are you guys using? Nothing I have fits and need to get a new one.

My Savage F-Class just barely fit into the Pelican 1750 case.

For a soft case look at Bullets.com. Should do the trick.. Tommy Mc..

Check out the SKBs. I use one for airline travel. It's taken a real beating and is still solid.

Now, I did not inquire about shipping so look around and comparison shop because sometimes the cheapest costs more due to shipping.

SKB has a good case. Airline handling proof. They also have notches to let them stack.. matt

That's why I stated it was simply a quick check. All the others I looked at included the foam but I did not see that the foam was extra on this one. Nobody's perfect.

What's that empty weight on this plano? It irritates me that these companies don't provide the full specs. They'll wait until you buy it online and then find out it weighs so much as to be useless for airline travel.

I have never weighed it but Midway has it listed as 30lbs on their website. I think it would be closer to 25lbs or possibly less...but not by much.

THanks all. shoukd have stated I was looking soft case. I have no desire to lug on of those pelican or plano cases around. they suck going between yardage lines and they suck storing in a car and they take up way to much room in the gun room!!

Check out Champions Choice soft case, they have 2 sizes, get the long one they work very well.
