The pigs are new and "unobtanium" but you should be able to get some 105 Dominators. Give Kim or Bart a call and you should be able to get a supply before next shooting season. James

Very interesting post to be sure.Sometimes thinking outside the box can prove to be a good thing.Just look at some of the ideas Randy Robinett
has had and worked.Even the name of his company thumbs it nose at the traditionalists.I once had a conversation with Todd Kindler about the benefits of the 88 Berger LD and he built some special 25 grain 17 caliber
low drag flat base bullets,man did they group well and they shot flat too.
I think you are right about the benefits of a little more bearing surface Bart I also think a flat base
that moves the c/g back helps the balance out,it also frees up some more area to allow a sleeker ogive.Look at the shape of the old Berger 88 and imagine it weighing 95~103 grains.
