I had a mini action that I’d previously developed a load with another using 27.7 grains of AR-Comp. The overall length was 2.260 oal (1.760 BTO ish). It shot roughly 3/4” groups. I got another mini action and figured the load should shoot great in this rifle as well. It didn’t. My bolt was sticky and groups were erratic. I checked the chamber and it measures 2.262-2.263. So, my old load is almost jammed into the lands. To compound the issue, I just started shooting suppressed. I reduced my BTO to 1.745. That’s helped as well as reducing the charge a few tenths. Does anyone have a similar chamber or scenario? If you do, do you have a load using 123 grain Noslers and AR Comp? Or 123 ELD-Ms?
