Grendel info & questions

Morning all,

What would be the appropriate forum for the 6.5 Grendel or where would I be apt top find info on the cartridge here?

Thanks

Sid

Actually there happens to be a forum just for the 6.5 grendel. Just google "6.5grendel forum" and it is the first hit. But there are several people on here that are very knowledgeable on this cartridge and if I were you I would post here and there for more responses.

The Grendel forum is much better than the ar15 dot co :'(m. I get the "if you weren't in the military, stay out" vibe from ar15dotcom.

The 6.5 Grendel forum was shut down several years ago due to hacking attacks by persons unknown.

Go to Beyond556.com website. There is a forum, reloading data, technical build sections, etc. I think that you will find what you need there.

Those imbeciles are largely big fat commando wannabees who worry most about color coordination of their aftermarket gadgetry. If you have half a brain and don't lick the sponsors' boots, you don't last long in that arena.

Yes, the 6.5 grendel forum was shut down, but someone (maybe the same people/person) has a new one going. Here is the link to it.

Love that Grendel case. Neck it down, or neck it up. Leave shoulder alone or blow it to 40 deg.

Thanks for the update also. I wasn't aware that the Grendel forum had been resurrected, after the hack attack. Been shooting the Grendel for approx. 5 years now. The origional throat/leade design, by Bill Alexander, was problematic with its compound angles of 0.5 and 1.5 deg. in obtaining a consistant distance off the lands. With Dave Kitt's help (of PT&G), I reamed the leade, and the final product is similar to the design of the .264-LBC.
