6.5 Grendel

Hey all,

New here. I posted a couple of questions on the reload forum on pet loads for my Grendel. But not a single reply. Any particular place to post such questions with just a tad more feedback perhaps?

I can't be of any help with the load because I'm not familiar with the cartridge. There's been so much activity of the forum today that your post has already made it to the second page. I can't speak for everyone but I don't view anything except the first page most of the time. Most of the guys on here will post a reply to their own post to keep it up near the top of the list. The ones I've seen they put btt (not sure but I assume that means "back to top"). Good luck, Brian.

There used to be a dedicated 6.5 Grendel website & forum but it kinda got overwhelmed by hackers late last year.

You ought to be able to find answers to your questions at the website / forum that took its place over at:

If you want to post you need to sign up but until you do feel free to read all you want of what's already there. Look in the Forum/Medium Bore section, or farther down under Handloading/Reloading.

If you find you need more, let me know. I have some PDF files of suggested loads for 6.5 Grendel I can e-mail to you.

Well Mr. spclark,

Thank you a ton for your help and guidance. I knew of the 65grendel sight but like you said it is now gone. Thats a darn shame. I will however go check out the other sight you recommended. Can you also please send over those loads that you have particular experience with yourself also? I have an Alexander Arms upper and lower in the AR format. If I didn't say so already.

The load data I have is the same as what's now on the AA website. I have some older, printed pages but I believe the information they hold is a little dated. They came from AA too.

The Beyond556.com forum is the place for you. That's where I got what I posted to your other query, and where most of the folks who participated in the defunct Grendel forum now hang out. Good luck with your Grendel, I think you'll be happy with it of you pay attention to the basics of hand-loading for rifles.

I'm shoot hornady 123 custom competitions with 28.4 grains Tac in Lapua brass.
In my two howa minis, 5 shot .700 groups or better at 100
