Been in those hunting camps where you watch someone trying to saw through a deer or elk hide. Can spend a whole evening getting knives in service shape. Always have an accusharp and steel in my elk pack.
At least she doesn't put them in the dishwasher LOL.I used the carbide sharpeners because I can not keep my wife from tossing out knives into the silverware rack while washing them. They get banged around and dull quickly that way. So I don’t waste my time with may stones. However my neighbor laughs because I sharpen my exacto knife blades on my stone. Lol

It's a Norton multi stone. The stones are replaceable as they get worn out. I also use a squaring stone to keep them flat.Could you share with us what sharpener this is.
