3 friends made it up ftom Florida for a solid 3 days of pdog shooting.
7am to 5pm each day.
Saturday, wind never let up, from 5mph to a steady 15 + all day. Overcast, rainy, not much sun due to cloud cover. 7am and chased 4 coyote. No shots.
Then the pdogs popped up like weeds out of nowhere and I mean many 100s.
So I had em set up, flatish open area below a valley so they could shoot any angle.
They snot shot them to pieces.
I just spotted for them Saturday.
Sunday, sunny, windy, cloudy as Saturday. Pdogs waiting in fields to be fed lead.
Started off west of prior days spot, yup valley on both sides of hill crest full of em.
I did shoot this day, ran 91 hits without a break, then slowed down, not a shot past 289 yards, see em, put cross hair on shoot, thwwap splat non stop.
Others shot both sides of valley, moved one pal next to me, he shot the heck out of them as my spot was over running with them.
I spotted for him. Many doubles, triples every day.
Monday we started off in a very large town rolling with 1000s of mounds, sage brush, rolling bumpy area.
Not an easy spot n see area due to terrain, still whaped em hard, moved east side after west side slowed down.
Across a creek area was packed with pdogs, very open and not tons of giant mounds.
I had one of em 4wd drive down, cross creek, up other side.
All I could hear was thwaap, thwap as he shot, hit one after another.
He had a table in pickup bed, so easy to move.
Three of us were suppressed, one muzzle braked.
All on all great time with friends, long days of shooting having fun.
Thier rigs were 223, 53g vmax.
I run 50g vmax in my Savage.
