Grease for bolt action...?

There is some older threads on the subject.... What are you guys useing for bolt grease these days..?
Preferably in a tub , I have been using different kinds in the syringe but I end up wasting more than I use because it just keeps rolling out before you can stop it...

I've used Super Lube since the 80's. I've tried about everything out there and keep going back. Not fancy and don't make the guys at the range swoon, it just works. Brian.

I swear by this stuff. Frog lube. Best stuff ever. A little Q tip amount will get the entire bolt done. We used it on all of our weapon systems in AFG. It was awesome.

Shawn, Pull back on the syringe plunger a bit when you have applied as much as you want.

Also, use a synthetic grease that has a lower viscosity so it requires less pressure to squirt it out.

I use the red synthetic stuff from Bruno's.

Ok thank you guys..Steve oaks I think I have a faulty plunger , it's real hard to depress and when it does start flowing 4 times as much as I need comes out before I can stop it...

I use marine grease in a tube. Apply via a swab.

Motorkote Hyper Lubricant. This stuff just flat out works. Check out MotorKote demo on you tube. I took an old lawnmower that I have and drained all the oil out of it, filled it back up with MotorKote, ran it for about 5 minutes, drained it and mowed my whole lawn without no oil in the engine and it didn't seize up.

lucas red tacky amazing stuff stays on has anti gauling properties 5.00 a grease gun tube at wallyworld or 5.99 at advanced auto. it is also polar binding

What does everyone/anyone think of dry Molybdenum powder as a bolt lube? It sticks to metal quite well and I have a friend that has a quantity.

Penn reel grease. Comes in a nice little tub. I had it in my tackle box and I don't throw anything out.

I use the Montana Extreme in the syringe - Its green in color, also have used the red Pro-Shot in the syringe. - both work well.

Or you could just tap the vent hole in the side of the action and install a grease fitting.

AMS-OIL synthetic grease. I fill my syringe out of the grease gun.

I also trim the tip of the syringe. This reveals a larger hole so less pressure is required to dispense the grease.
