This is testing mine with 75 gr AMAX and seating them .020 off of the lands. I'm using RL-15, Lapua brass and a CCI 200:

A cardboard box with a rock, brick, or some kind of weight in the bottom works rather well in a pinch. Those wire frames with the corrugated backers blow like a kite in the wind.

Good luck, and when the wind is blowing, best time to shoot is the last hour of daylight if you can handle the time away from the dinner hour at home.

I would suspect that you find a sweet spot between 32.5 & 32.9gn. Looks like a node there with lower SD and all in very similar proximity to the 6 o'clock position on the target.

Found a few old handloads from many years ago when i started playing around with my first 22-250. I was able to print 5 shot groups under 3/4" with 63 grain sierra & 32.5gr of IMR 4064. Bench had wobble & it was windy but thats a good back-up load to start with & tinker a bit more. I've got new bullets & powders to try now

Bullets used are the Berger 70 & 75 VLD's also used are the 68 Hornady HPBT, 75 Hornady Amax. Most of the time I use H4350, like between 35-36 grains. IMR 4350 and H414 work well also. Ram Shot Hunter works well with 75 grain bullets. We have 3, .22-250 rifles all with McGowen barrels - (1) 1-8, and (2) 1-7.7. Powder of choice is H4350, velocity spreads are less than 25 fps and these loads shoot well up to 600. An older 1-9 twist McGowen liked 68 Hornady's, a real good buy. The 53 grain Hornady VMax is a good shooter out of the 1-8 with H414 - approaching 40 grains but read the Hornady manual.
