Got my 22BR tube but need help

I went through the same deal with Nss and Shilen. Luckily I found out they used a 22 br Rem reamer a week after I ordered mine. After James from Nss told me it was a norma chamber. I was Able to cancel my barrel be fore it got done. Had bugholes chamber a Bartlein for me and had it in under a month.

Anybody ever see 20 or 22 BR loaded ammo for sale?? NO?? Cause it's a Wildcat.
Necked down to 22 or 20 from Remington 6 BR or Norma/Lapua brass.
And any reamer prints came from the 6BR case being modified.
Ever see a 7mm BR, 6.5 BR, 25 BR or anything other than the 6 BR case?
Just another modified 6 BR case, necked up or down.
I went as far as to modify a 6BR Lapua case to 6.8. A real bug hole maker. Just a matter of necking up to fit the 6.8 bullet.
Only difference is the neck size. The case specs remain the same.
Got go/no go gauges for the 6 BR? Works for any of them. Only difference would be between the Remington or the Norma.

For the various related issues and topics mentioned within this thread is why I shared that the ORIGINAL info posted on the site's cartridge board is not the best/complete info to follow. This URL really needs to be updated and enhanced to include the many variables mentioned within this thread: https://www.accurateshooter.com/cartridge-guides/22br/

I am happy to provide the suggested revisions if the owner of the site will accept the support with his editing of course.

Contact Forum Boss and offer. He was open to submissions and help writing. I'm still working away on a 20 Vartarg Cartridge Guide for him.

First BR's were made from 7mm BR Remington cases and bore that headstamp. Want a different chambering you made it from that brass it's all there was, Lapua or anything else didn't exist. Riflebuilders spec'd their reamers according to what they thought was best. My 22BR was done in the 80's by a local benchrest shooter/riflebuilder using 7BR Remington. That 7BR Remington brass is the same in web - both .469", and shoulder diameter to 6BR Lapua, only difference is length......Lapua is 1.556", my Rem. brass is 1.530", .026" shorter. The neck - I don't think there were any set reamer spec's back then, but it was also 35yrs ago and I don't remember a whole lot. That 7BR stuff had to be necked down considerably. The builder's reamer did cut a very tight neck, .243", that's how he liked it. He turned 900 pieces of brass for me. That small neck works fine and the gun is just awesome accurate. Again, other than the obvious neck dia. the two cases differ only in length.
