Question for other javelina hunters out there. I have several cartridges i can choose from when hunting javelina but for the last 4 years i have settled on my 6mm creedmoor. Im using a 108 eldm hand load and it knocks them down hard. Have been as close as about 30 yards out to 200 yards. The 108 does some damage just like most with bad placement. I try my best to hit in right spot not to get stomach or back. But they can be small critters when looking at distance or if they move when trigger pulled. 2 weeks ago got one in stomach and blew stuff into both sides in the ribs. Waisted meat. Does anyone have a bullet they prefer? I can go smaller cartridge if needed but like the knock down power at distance. I tried my 204r twice with 35 bergers. Both times bullet went in and blew up. Did not stop them and took a follow up shot. I dont use that anymore. This last one a friend was able to record it. I need to figure out how to put a link to video on here.
