Good Bullet Choice?

Soon to begin .380ACP reloading for two Bersa Thunders.
Help needed in determining which bullets to buy for target/range use and best sources for them. FMJ, JHP, Lead RN, etc.

Thanks in advance.

I have never shot them but have used their 224 bullets with good luck. Quick shipping worth checking out.

I also like plated bullets, and I've found X-Treme bullets are cheaper than Berry's, and work just as well for me. My friend found them in stock at a Cabelas, and I'm sure online direct is the best pricing. "Deal of the Week"

If you want actual FMJ then I'd maybe try RMR (Rocky Mounting Reloading) as I've gotten some good deals with their 9mm bullets.

There is a difference between jacketed and plated pistol bullets. I discovered this today. Jacketed bullets can survive being pushed at +p loads were as plated bullets may come apart at the +p loads. Jacketed bullets have a max FPS rating. But plated bullets are priced better than jacketed bullets. Newbies learn everyday...lol

Right now Berrys plated 380 bullets would be the smart way to go. Cheap and available. I used Sierra pils for years but they are scarce.
Here is another source which I use including berrys.

Absolutely correct. I use plated bullets for plinking, practice, slower target rounds. They’re cheaper so I shoot more. No savings what so ever, but I’m having fun!
