Just got a Contender in .22lr but wanting to mount a scope. Will it require drilling and tapping or can I use the screw holes for the rear sight? Thanks, James

There's mounts that go in the 4 screw holes where the rear sight is.

also, there are tons of mounts available. Just make sure you do not use an encore mount

If you are planning to use a rear stock then you might consider registering the action as an SBR (Form 1), which now costs $0. This will allow you to use any short barrel while also using a rear stock.

That hole Is way too small!!!
