I had a 357 Herrett back in the early 80’s. Wish I had never gotten rid of it. Very good shooting weapon and it’s not hard to make the brass for it. You will like it. Have considered getting another one but probably will not.

Both the Herretts were super accurate and powerful cartridges in the contender.
The cases required you pay attention but no big deal. I'm not sure but someone will remember , I think Bob Milak shot more than 1 elk with ta 14"- .357 and I used the 30 for a while in Pennsylvania in a 10" version.

I got a contender in trade it's has pistol barrels in 22lr 22 hornet 223rem with a scope and 45/410 the hornet is octigon barrel and then a rifle barrel in 6.8 SPC I was wondering what it's value is the bluing is a little worse on the 223 but not enough to let it rust I'm talking about trading for a decent vehicle and need to know what it's worth

Looks like an Easy Open frame, the octagon barrel is missing the dovetail lock so that would detract a little, not much love for the octagon barrels anyway it doesn't seem like. The forend on the carbine barrel is from an Encore so it won't fit too well. Tough to tell without looking in person but I would say from what I can see if sold all together $1100.00 + If the condition is better than it appears in the picture it could bring considerably more.

The Herrett's were designed for maximum efficiency in 10" barrels.
