glass bedding

Ok I just got a Stevens .308 and I want to glass bed the stock. But before I do that I want to add some weight to the front of the stock to reduce the muzzle jump, and a little recoil. Does anyone have any ideas? Like maybe putting some weights in the front of the stock and then put the bedding material over top of it or something?
This may sound crazy but I was just wondering.

I do it all the time by adding lead shot in the channel and bedding over that.
No problem at all if your arms can stand the strain :D

well i just have regular contour barrel. but due to some medical issues, i'd like to try to cut down on some of the recoil, and muzzle jump. but i dont know how much to put in the front of the stock.
