Hi,
I’ve got a new M21 Cooper in 223 caliber that I’ve been working with. I’ve worked up some loads and have ordered a 35x Leupold target scope for further load development just so I know it’s not me opening up groups. Has anyone experienced a marked improvement glass/pillar bedding their Cooper? I’m not rushing into this because it’s a new gun and I’m sure Cooper would frown on such a thing if I had to return it for any reason. So far at 140 yards which just happens to be my backyard berm distance, I’ve been able to get 10 shot groups down to 7/8 inch with neck resized cases and Sierra Blitz King bullets. I’m happy with the gun but would like to get the most accuracy possible from it. I’m using Lapua match brass but have not neck turned them yet.
