Giraud Power Trimmer vs Sinclair Ultimate

I am about to purchase the rest of the tools I need to start reloading. I am going to be reloading pretty low volume. I am a buy once/cry once type of person, but do not just buy the top end when it is not needed.

When would you recommend the Sinclair Ultimate trimmer over the Giraud? I will be shooting about 100-200 rounds per month and have a job where I can trim brass manually on the job so "time" is really not an issue for me. I was always under the impression that the Sinclair Ultimate was the most precise trimmer on the market, but the way I read the Daily Bulletin a few weeks ago about manual trimmers is it made me think that the manuals were not as precise as the Giraud.

I know that I will have to chamfer and deburr manually with the Sinclair, but I have a lathe to help with that.
Would you get the Giraud for low volume or get the Sinclair, Thanks!

Two things you almost never see for sale used, Giraud trimmers and Benchsource Annealers, and if you do it's someone who is getting out of shooting.

Without trying, my Giraud trim rate is ~15-20 cases per minute, trimmed to <±.001", chamfered inside and out, ready to prime and no chips on the bench. Use a set of Skip's die shims and adjusting trim length by .001" increments is trivial and dependable. Buy the Giraud and don't bother crying. I smile every time I use it. [br]

If you're on a budget, the Giraud Triway trimmer is excellent.
