Sinclair Power Center

Does anyone here use the Sinclair Power Center?? I'm thinking of getting one to speed up the reloading process. With the unit and the proper attachments you can clean primer pockets, chamfer, deburr, brusn inside of necks, trim necks etc. The unit is expensive but it does a lot. But in reading this forum I discovered the Giraud trimmer. I dont understand what all the fuss is about with this unit. Maybe I dont understand, but all it does it trim cases. I mean how ofter do cases have to be trimmed. After every 4 to 6 uses??? On brand new brass?? I use a sinclair/wilson case trimmer and crank the handle. Yes its tedious but it works well. Am I missing something?? It seems the Sinclair power center will do more. Opinions welcome.

Thanks

The Giraud trimmer not only trims, but it chamfers and deburs at the same time. It's very quick, only slightly more complicated than sharpening a pencil.

Your point about not having to trim with every reload is valid, but you do have to trim new cases, plus chamfer and debur as separate operations. It's pretty tedious to do it with a manual trimmer.

I have one and use it for neck turning when I have a large number of cases to do. Its an excellent unit and easy to use. I don't have any other attachments so can't report on those.

Have the Giraud case trimmer and two Sinclair Power Centers.

Don't use the Giraud for every cartridge I reload.

Use one Sinclair to deburr and one Sinclair to chamfer without setting the case down.

Like 'em all.

I broke down and got the Sinclair Power Center. Expensive, but I think its well worth the cost. Makes the reloading process go much faster. Sinclair make some top of the line stuff.
