I just do not answer and then delete the call on the answering machine, whistles, etc do nothing as 99% of the calls are a recording and no one is on the other end, other than a tape recorded message.

This guy is a man after my own heart. Literally my hero. A surprising amount of these calls will actually have someone on the line if you follow 1 or 2 prompts. I personally do all manner of things to mess with them, ranging from just breaking out screaming bloody murder, to trying to keep them on the phone as long as I can...

I get at least a dozen from Affordable Health Care every day. I started blocking them. They now spoof random local numbers to get through. I also get a lot from someone in India wanting to talk about my prescriptions. 3-4 times a day. I cussed them out, put them on endless hold, and it does no good. I asked him one time what part of India he was from. He hesitated and then told me. I asked him how much round trip air fare was. He said he didn't know. Then I told him that it would be worth it to fly to India just to stomp the crap out of him! He hung up.

Priceless! Gotta wonder if the call was recorded on the originating end 'for quality assurance purposes'. That would make someone's day. 'Hey everyone - c'mere! You gotta listen to this....'

At some point the Telemarketer must have realized he was being pranked and probably got a good laugh out of it.

After dozens of calls, I finally got rid of the Windows Support Group guy once and for all. I asked him if he was working for one of those extremist groups that wants to drop a dirty ****(insert some forbidden words here) or **** our leaders in Washington, and of course he answers no.
I said GOOD, because now that those words have been spoken, our NSA will review this call and WILL SUCCESSFULLY trace your location. And since we have a leader that most will describe as more than a little unpredictable, but also really hates foreigners ripping off Americans, you might think about not coming into work for a few months, or if you're calling from your home phone, MOVE.

Our election season is coming up and Trump loves to use the power of our cruise missiles. He might just put one in your window next week, just to show Americans he's looking out for them.

Must have had a certain ring of truth to him cause I never heard from him again.

Do you take the time to turn in the numbers that call you..? I might get one BS call a week because I do turn them in..... It takes about 2-3 minutes to do.... With these guys using spoofing technologies so it comes up whatever number the choose it sucks but I still turn them in with it noted it's a spoof call so the number is not the actual number.... My mom actually got a call from her number one time.... I block the number and turn them in , it has cut WAY down on the calls I get , plus if I don't know the number I don't answer it....
