Getting Old?

Best way to stay fit and full of piss and vinegar is to strength train. The earlier you start the better too. Here is a video that explains why and the benefits etc. It is actually pretty entertaining and very informative. Also everything is based off science and proof. More or less they are seeing that with strength training even just for a couple days a week for 15 minutes will make you feel like your 50 when you are 90. Also showed 75 year old's in just as good as shape as 35 year olds etc.

I tried to get a script for the testosterone replacement, my level at 73 is 200, but the damn doc wouldn't do it, because of my enlarged prostate. Had one ream job done on that 10 years ago, and it ain't much fun. I wonder if all those ads for internet testosterone are scams??Anybody know? I'm tired of feeling tired, folks.

I too could not resist this one, I'm 74 years old and enjoy shooting probably more now than ever before, and I have been shooting for over fifty years, I hobble around on a walking stick, but I have one good limb my right arm, so I figure I'm not doing so bad, could be worse. dooley

I'm 61 and just got new hips this winter. Best thing I ever did. I was in pain at all my matches last year and deer hunting turned out to be almost impossible. Got x-rayed over Christmas and was bone-on-bone, both sides. Had surgery by the relatively new anterior method. They go in through the front and don't cut any muscle, just part it. You are up and walking 2 hours after surgery and climbing stairs the next day. You go home the next day too. I worked from home over the Net for two weeks after each surgery and then went back to driving to work an hour each way. The pain never got over a 2 on a 1-10 scale and mostly has been zero to .5. Aspirin and Tylenol took care of that. A month after the last surgery, I am almost back to my 40-ish normal. I have one or two matches lined up each week until deer season starts (bench rest, service, bolt, f-class, egg shoots) and I'm looking forward to doing it all without pain. Can't wait until I retire and can go to work in a gun store.

You can get anything online. but I would look into finding another doctor. Go to an Endocrinologist, tell them you appreciate there opinion but this is what you want etc.

Hi Men. Well I am 60 and still above ground with a few aches and pains, but enjoying life and just met a wonderful lady who is 2 years older than me, and boy oh boy she has done wonders in certain areas (if you know what I mean!!). I love shooting, going out walking every day, do not smoke, enjoy a good drink, enjoy a bit of what does you good (every day if possible and twice on a Sunday).
Keep on truckin'/shootin'/drinkin'/lovin'/chasing women/huntin'/driving fast/etc to all the over 60s/70s/80s.

I was going to post something here but decided not to. I'm 60, so I'm too young. I'll just wait awhile to grow old:)
