Yep, the PA Game Commission has a 27-caliber minimum for Elk also. Like a 140 or a 160 grain 6.5 from a 6.5 x 55 is not enough but a 130 from a 270 is ok.really? 24cal minimum is new to me???

All lead projectiles of 120gr or more for elk in PA?? No copper jackets allowed? No Barnes TTSX allowed? This seems quite odd to me....any centerfire.

If you're in PA make sure the book is 2021. They allowed semi autos and then dropped them for deer. Then did a few other weird things.i guess i need to get my book back out. last i knew 223 was fine and 6.5 120gr for elk is also?
i have a 6.5 and saw it was legal and i have used a 223 on whitetails too?
