German Salazar .30-06 Articles

Hello Folks. Sometime ago I found a three part article authored by German Salazar regarding reloads for the .30-06. I am currently trying to find these articles again. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks for your time. Jim

...which he pulled down some months ago unfortunately. Many of us are wishing we had downloaded all that material when we had the chance. His primer tests alone were epic as well as tube gun set-up, load testing, etc..

For one, his material was copywrited. But what actual issue caused him to pull it I don't know. Too bad as it was REALLY good stuff.

Hey EOD! It is not but that one is a good read too. The three part series that I am looking for had to do specifically with the .30-06 and German Salazar's favorite loads. He talks quite a bit about the loads, powders, barrel lengths and other related topics. Definitely a good read. Thanks for the help.

Just FYI
I asked German after he quite shooting if anything new was coming out on the blog. He told me after the Surgery on his shoulder he was calling it quites. And that he had pre paid the web page/blog for something like 3 years or so and when it ran out it ... well that was it. So I guess you cant expect a guy to keep paying for it while not actually using it.

I notice all the heavy bullets shown appear to be moly coated.

Were the shoulder problems caused by shooting all those 30-06's with heavy bullets?

Free lunches only last so long. Having a paid website of my own for many years, I can tell you that it cost over $100 per year to host a site like that. When I had to take it down for technical reasons, there were many moaning and groaning just like this but no one stepped up and offer to pay the charges. Not being nasty, just stating the facts.

My guess is if he continues to get full credit and the articles are not changed in anyway, he will likely be happy.

There was a thread last year about German shutting down his site. I did a search and can't find it. The jest was quite a few people contacted him and he was not interested in reviving it and not willing to let some one else take it over. He has moved on to other things in life and does not want to be bothered any more about it. It sounded like he was starting to get pretty irritated by people asking him. It was a an incredible resource and I'm just as disappointed as everyone else. Maybe some one with better google search fu can find the link. It explains it very well and might even have a reply from him, I don't exactly recall. It was last year here some time.
