He told me after the Surgery on his shoulder he was calling it quites.

Free lunches only last so long. Having a paid website of my own for many years, I can tell you that it cost over $100 per year to host a site like that. When I had to take it down for technical reasons, there were many moaning and groaning just like this but no one stepped up and offer to pay the charges. Not being nasty, just stating the facts.
My guess is if he continues to get full credit and the articles are not changed in anyway, he will likely be happy.I will take it over if German would give me permission to reprint his articles. I have no problem paying for it. Anyone have his contact info?
Without talking to German personally,I think it's a bit much to speculate on what he MAY or MAY not want.
