Gentlemen, I present... the ".220 REDLINE"

OK fellas...
Was able to sneak away from the offshore tuna slaying and got up to the farm. Hit one of snert's honeyholes that he left me in care of, and got the REDLINE barrel warmed up nicely! In total, took 10 in barely an hour's time. Of course, video'ed all of 'em... :)
Let's start the vids off with a proper 'snerting'...shall we???

(remember to select 720P playback)

BTW...
If you were wondering what the heck that ringing/twanging sound at each shot is, it's the APA Micro bastard brake throttling the cattle gate...o_O

Can see hits thru the scope easy now, but that sucker is flat out obnoxious to be next to!!

I found myself getting tickled at your accent - almost as bad as mine on the other end (southern) of the spectrum. Still pisses me off when History channel sub titles anyone from the South.
If I said it, it would be - You done be-aan re-ud liiiiiined boy. We tend to add syllables for no reason.

went from NW Florida, thats lower Alabama,to Washington State for 6 months one time, they thought I was from a furan country,,put fur and an together,,,

Annnnd, another SNERTing (hope I'm doin' ya proud, here Bud!!!)
Obviously, these vids are out of sequence with the day's shooting. Bit of a breeze there when I first arrived! Always good to start off with a SNERT...:D

I know that field, I know the usual time delay from trigger pull to seeing impact when shooting a fast Swift and 55 grain bullets. I know what it looks like when a 6mm bullet hits. This sucker shoots faster than a swift and hits harder than the 6BR, more like the 6mm Rem and 70 grain bullets. I am very impressed. Flat, fast and splat. No questions about kinetic energy out there! Those 500 yard hits look like 300 yard Swift hits.

I really enjoy this thread! For some reason it makes me happy to see varmints dispatched quickly and cleanly with great authority.Coyotes and crows would be the icing on this cake for me,as I have said earlier;)
Fredo you should be well pleased with this rifle as it has fulfilled all the expectations set for it.1000 yard coyotes better look out.
Matt

Fredo,
Guessing you've put a fair number of rounds down the tube already. How does wear look so far ?

Sweeeeeet. I knew exactly what mound that was on the last one before you zoomed out. Man that bullet gets there quick with authority.

BTW, I have a borescope...
