general tool borescopes any good?

Hi all, Have a chance to buy a General Tools borescope and don't know whats good or not good. This one has a probe that goes down to .15 diameter. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Before I bought my Hawkeye from Brunos for about $800 (with angle eye piece) about 5 years ago, I must have spent weeks searching Ebay and the internet trying to save a few dollars. But ultimately, I chickened out and did the right thing. Instead of buying medical or industrial engineering stuff I knew nothing about, I spent only a little bit more for a new Hawkeye scope and got what I needed and what was designed for the intended purpose of inspecting gun barrels.

There are sooooooo many used medical scopes out there. Most of them didn't include angled eye pieces, nor capable of viewing at 90 degree angles. Most for under $1,000 also did not include a light scorce. You really have to know what the heck you're buying, and hope whatever you buy can be serviced later easily too. It's also not like they are sold at bargain prices.

Hawkeye/Gradient lens is made and serviced here in the US, and is intended for we guys in the shooting sports.

Thanks much guys for your replies. Jon, I apologize for getting back so late to answer you, This particular scope was only mentioned by the name of General Tools, to be honest it popped up on Craigs list here on the Minneapolis site as brand new for about $500. Some guy apparently won it somewhere and said he had no use for it. In looking around, I found that that was about the going rate for that scope but as was mentioned, I think I'll wait around for a Hawkeye sometime as they seem to be the one to have.
Best Wishes guys
