I got one when they first came out. With nothing but pros to the Garmin, That was the one and only con. I just learned to make sure that it is upgraded before I use it in a match or whatever.Twice now, my Xero will prompt me for an upgrade mid-string. As long as the screen prompt is up, it won't collect data.
It's super annoying.
You better put an Apple AirTag on this one so you can track it. I know a person who lost a rifle that way.Well I have nothing to say about my Garmin other than I lost it!! shite. I must have left it in its box on my truck bed tool box while putting stuff away yesterday. Bounced off the road into the brush somewhere I guess. Another one on the way! I dont usually lose stuff twice!
What brand case is that? I was looking at one something similarDidn't charge mine after the last trip.
Ran out of battery yesterday.

I'm only guessing,If your Garmin app has already figured out that there's an update, it will still notify the Xero.
At my range, there's no cell service, and I still get the issue.
Turning off Bluetooth is the only workaround and I don't want to do that.
i have not had any of that, but i didnt load the app to my phone. So I think Fire Dogs explanation is prob correct.Twice now, my Xero will prompt me for an upgrade mid-string. As long as the screen prompt is up, it won't collect data.

thats wat i should doYou better put an Apple AirTag on this one so you can track it. I know a person who lost a rifle that way.
Wow I feel for you. Thats something that would be easy for me to do. I have been thinking about that often as the unit is so small and it would be very easy for me to leave it somewhere. I for one dont want to lose to many 600 dollar bills. I put mine in a certain spot in my car everytime i leave the range and then look there before i pull out on the road to make sure i have it. Hope u do better with the next one.Well I have nothing to say about my Garmin other than I lost it!! shite. I must have left it in its box on my truck bed tool box while putting stuff away yesterday. This was my original case idea, then I put a ARCA adapter on the bottom so the unit would quickly mount to a shooting bench mount, or gun mounted, or a stiff tripod, etc. and that adapter is large enough the case will not stay snapped shut, so I went to an old pistol case that had room for some of the other mounts.View attachment 1527591
This is my solution. The is room for the snap on connection that i got from Amazon to put on my seb.View attachment 1527593
