I tried Revival in Denver and got scammed. I think I am lucky to get my scale back.
Anyone with success in getting a scale repaired?

Edit 6May2025: Do not ever send $ via ACH unless you know and trust receiver.

Thank you jxb.
Flat rate repair at A&D is $600
CE Products refers repairs to A&D

Is there another option for repair?

There’s a local service company that has provided calibrations/certifications/repairs for our universities for decades. Maybe call and ask what they can do?

Analytical and Precision Balance, Phoenix, AZ.

Redding beam scale is your solution.i have an rcbs as a back up just cause I acquired it and a double check if needed

Really the $35 lee powder scale is most accurate of all.lmao. It comes tuned to 1/20 th gr. Wish I hadn't sold it

It's slow but you don't deal with these problems with electronics and fluorescent lights and all that mess.it works.no warming up or any of that mess

Yeah that's a major face palm there. You would be ahead to just by a new one for the same price and have a new 5yr warranty. I'm sure there's someone who repairs them, depends what's wrong with it.

Once a fella owns a Fx120 it’s tough to go back to a beam scale. Accurate yes but they just aren’t on the same level of convenience as the 120.
Buy a new 120 or step up to analytical.

The Creedmoor scale works just as well. Might save you a few bucks......Best of luck. Personally, I sold the whole 120/autotrickler to a friend and went back to throwing and trickling with the Omega into the Parker tuned beam scale with a webcam aimed at the pointer and the laptop in front of me on a shelf. I have a few gross of 1 Dram vials I store powder in, so I fill them when I have the time and am never in a rush. Weighing powder is about as quick without the drifting and the noise. I use the Creedmoor for other sorting, mostly primers.....Yeah, I'm that guy....LOL

I am glad I read this post. Shortly I am gonna hit the road rv'ing for a few years and will be re-loading 'on the fly'. I am going to bring your 1 dram vial idea to a new level!! I am sure can buy those vials by the 1000# !! Thx

BTW: I have shot groups at 100 as good a need to be shot, including one 4 shot that I could not measure. Back then I was weighing with the most popular diamond palm ( portable) scale in that industry. Funny part is its accuracy threshold is .01 carat or .003 grains. I was using it for lower volume rounds like 223 to 243 size. This is when I realized trickling kernels is a waste of time, other than for something like a 22 Hornet if trying to make is a benchrest round. lol. Factory match ammo is all measured by volume. Buy some, pull some and weigh the charges to see what the spread is. Some rounds are more forgiving than others but most are more forgiving than the need for a pita ultra precision laboratory scale. That's what I think and I'm stickin to it!
