One source of minor drift is the powder cup. Some of these have 3D printed parts and the filament is hygroscopic (absorbs water), so just touching them can cause it to gain weight or it can lose weight if the humidity decreases. I printed several cups, some out of PLA w/ CF, some ABS. The ABS was less effected but still changed weight from wiping down with IPA, rinsing off with water etc. Even touching with bare hands while sanding on the handle of one changed weight.
