FX 120i V4 Autotrickler App

Just setting up a new scale and V4. Unfortunetly i have a Galaxy Android cell device and looks like the app is not available in Google play. Trying to install on my laptop and seem to be having difficulties. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you also read "The screenshots were written for Lenovo Tab M8"For some reason i'm having issues getting it to open and read on a Dell laptop. No IT wizard here but did attempt to follow the directions.

You'll need to download the AutoTrickler_v4_123.apk file into the downloads directory on your Android device and then follow the directions on the PDF below.

Windows does not run Android based apps. The Lenova Tab 8 the site references is an Android based tablet.

Even then I have had trouble with some Android apps on different products, like Samsung vs Lenova tablets.

I was just realizing this myself, and was ready to ask. Wondering now what the best device will be to run this. Going to reach out to Macdonald. Hoping others will chime in as like any new thing wanting to get it up and running and learn on my day off. Thanks for helping!!

I got one of Adams Tablets and life is good.
I have a Shot Marker and a V-3 all is good .
Note on His Tablet it has Google ? One time Google and the Shot Marker tried to load at the same time ???
Mr. Not so Smart was lost . Then closed everything and started over.

YW. My wife has a Lenova tablet and mine are Samsung so we sometimes can see differences in how well an app works.

I'd try the phone first. Then see if a tablet works.

Yep, with all computers, if it isn't working the way you want, close everything, cycle power and go again. "Smart" TV's are the worst offender.

I found a hack for an Amazon fire tablet that let me install android apps and use it to run my autotrickler. I bought the fire tablet at a pawn shop for $30

Any cheap lat(ish) model Android tablet or phone will work, as long as it supports Bluetooth. Should be able to find one on Amazon (or other retailer) for under a hundred bucks.. Or ask around town; a lot of people like having the later models and will dump earlier models for cheap. The app is not resource intensive, so you don't need all the bells and whistles of a high end tablet..

I've got Android version on a Samsung tablet and IOS version on Iphone 14 plus and the app is the same on both devices.
