Hi Guys,
is there anyone out there that can give me some answers on this topic,I have a Browning Eurobolt 270 which I have re barreled with a Border cut Barrel,1/9 twist
I am aware that the chamber tolerances will be less than a factory built rifle, however here is the rub, when reloading with brand new brass, fired ,chamber formed,I reload same and neck sized, everything is fine, the formed case gives me 2.043.5th Head Space, shoots and ejects ok, I recently was given once fired Norma Brass fired in a Tika 270,I full sized and measured to Datum line took a random selection of this Brass, they were within the recommended tolerances , however I always cycle the sized brass thro the chamber and found that 30+ shells would not cycle, in fact I could not throw the bolt, even with slight pressure of the bolt jammed the shells, some had resistance ,I dumped them too,I checked them for head space they were a wee bit over so I bumped a couple back ,this made no difference.Have checked O.A.L. of brass Ok. Best to stick with new Brass. Any Ideas, would be grateful for you input. Morse
