Front rest set up and balance of rifle?

What would be expected if a rifles balance was to far forward or back after firing. What and how would balance effect front rest placement?

Tracking. Find the contact points on the bag/stock interface that requires the least effort to re-acquire POA (point of aim).

Right, I am wanting help diagnosing what needs to change. Does my bag have to tight of a fill causing a bounce or isit a balance issue with the rifle causing my issues. I am having trouble finding "the spot" on this rifle.

What's the front bag filled with? If you can't make a depression in the bottom of your bag with moderate finger pressure....then it's too hard. Best media for front bag is that Black Diamond medium grit blasting media sold by Tractor Supply.

Filled with heavy sand. i dont think i can fit any more in it. I added more after the sand settled out of the ears

IMHO heavy sand is only good for using in the rear bag base. If you don't have access to the Black Diamond, screen play sand and only use the coarser screenings, or mix reg.. sand with Parakeet gravel from the pet store. You want a medium that does not pack with continued use.

Ill give it a try. Tractor supply trip. Then wait for a warm day. Thanks for the advice
