Front bag for Bell and Carlson stock?

I'm looking at getting a Bald Eagle front rest and trying to decide what size front bag would be the best fit for a Bell and Carlson target/competition stock. The forend measures 2.4-2.5 inches wide. Bald Eagle has a 2.25 and 3 inch bag. Which one of those would work best or is there another brand/model that would fit better? Thanks for any advice.

I use a Protector 2 1/4 in bag for my BC varmint stock. Give them a call, they are great folks to deal with.

Thank you, I was hoping a 2.25 bag would have enough wiggle room to work. I figured the 3 inch bag wouldn't be able to get a good fit. I'll call Protektor and ask them also.

No it is not flat. I'm not sure what type forend it would be called. Varmint? Beavertail?

The caliper reads 2.440. Hard to see in the pic.

Yea you have what some bagmakers call a wide sporter. Protektor will make you a 2.5” owl ear sporter and itll be perfect

Thank you. I'll call them and see what all measurements they need. I was hoping there was a standard bag that would fit it but I couldn't find any that looked to be a good fit.

Bald eagle also has a front bag that is shaped like the protektor.

Another option would be a pic rail screwed into swivel stud locations, then get a bag rider from @urbanrifleman.
