Jerry Ford, Tim Hewitt, John Kruzan and myself
had a large time Friday afternoon at the range.
No wind, sunny, and temps in the 40's.
We shot a Ruger #1 in 204,
Shilen DGA in 6.5 x 55,
Rem 700 in 300 Weatherby,
Rem. 700 in 6 x 284, 107's & 115 DTAC
Rem 700 in 7 STW,
BAT 6 mm BRX, and a
European military trainer in 22 rimfire.
Tim is a machinist and made some stands and target
plates. Here is what happened at 600 yards on the
second center hit from his 300 Weatherby. I believe
he was shooting 208 gr ???
Jerry had no trouble at 800 with OLE Chuckie.
The 7 STW was loaded with 165 Bergers.
Jerry also helped me shoot this 100 yard group with my
BRX. 2 shooters, three shots
I'm just saying
Jerry & Tim are preparing for an African safarri in March.
Tim's first, but Jerry has been several times.
He has took most all his species with the 7 STW.
