free gun auction web sites???

I have a few savage barrels o sell. Can anyone tell me the names of some of the new free sites for selling gun stuff?

This is one of my 2 favorite sites, and is rapidly becoming #1. So the classifieds here is an obvious choice, to me. But considering you're talking Savages, why not list 'em in the classifieds section of Savageshooters.com, too?

Oops! Never mind. I just went to Savageshooters.com & they don't have a classifieds section. My mistake--I thought they did. Sorry about that.

You might check Rimfirecentral.com. They do have a classifieds section ("Trading Post"), it's free and very active, and they have a center fire classification. I've bought & sold quite a bit of stuff there over the past several years.

It is 12.00 a year or 1.00 per month which is way cheap.I am a member and like the threads and the classifieds.

Hmmm... we could hire three full-time staffers here with the revenue membership fees could generate. That would mean two big stories every week, more testing, more high-quality videos.

I would gladly pay 12 bucks a year for this site. Anyone selling items on here should be required to pay something. IMO, a yearly membership is the most cost effective way to facilitate that.

I donate here anyway and plan on continuing so I am for it. I know you want to keep the site free but a small sales fee would be a good compromise and keep the other forums free. Ask for a for-sale membership annual fee or persons that donate the $12 per year or more get access to the for-sale side to sale things. Buyers get access reguardless that way the forum stays free. Several ways you could do this but its a hard decision for sure.

OP, sorry for the off topic post.

You can sign up on RFC free. After you've been listed for a period (30 days, if memory serves) you can post items on their trading post. Still free. The annual fee of $12 (I think there's also a one-time fee of $8 to sign up) is to become a registered member, which brings with it other benefits & privileges. You don't have to wait 30 days to become a registered member, and if you choose to do that straight away you get all the privileges and benefits right away, including full trading post access.

I think I've got that right. If not, I'm confident that somebody will straighten me out. ::)
