Auction timing opinions

You are not required to sell, you can set a min or reserve and just keep relisting it if no takers. For a few years I was keeping tabs on Ruger No. 1's and there's definitely a cycle they go through for pricing and given it can swing $1000 it's worth being patient whether you're a buyer or seller as they seem to sell in all periods, in fact it seemed better in higher price segments.

I found some auctions that I reviewed would do a reserve while others won't. I did go ahead and put a couple in an auction that will go down in mid November. Nothing special and unless something drastic happens they should bring about what I would expect based on similar past history. I'm probably going to list one on here by end of the week to see how it goes here and if it does sell just how much trouble I have getting it completed and shipped. I have looked at the suggestion of SteveOak on using Ship my gun if I would need to ship unless someone within reasonable distance to me can meet face to face
