Free bore recommendation

I just ordered a new 30 cal barrel to have chambered in a 300 WSM, the heaviest bullet I intend to shoot will be the 215 Hybrids. Most likely will stay at the 200 grain area in all honesty. What will be the best free bore for this case for the bullets mentioned?

I have been using .255 on my first reamer, then I went to .280 on the 2nd reamer. I personally would not go below .250 free bore.

I am using 210 hunt vld, with a long bearing surface, I would have to go out to the gun room and look at the lot number.

No need in doing that, I just wanted make sure the 280 FB wasn't setup for the 230 grain class bullets.

.280 would be right for the 230 hybrid. I like a .220 for the 215. The 210 vld will have a little more bearing surface and end up between.

I just went through this a year ago. Ended up with a .230" puts the bottom of the bearing surface at the neck shoulder junction.

.233 for me I have used as light as the 190vld's and went as high as the 230's without any problems at all.

.230 should be about right. I run a.210 and am right even with junction with a 210 vld.
