Four States Two-Man Team Championship, Nov 17-18, 2018

Four States Two-Man Team Championship update

Okay folks, we are only a few weeks away from the Four States Two-Man Team Championship. Lots of folks are attending this match, it should be a good one. Speaking for the membership of Panola County Gun Club, you guys and gals are awesome to come support this club at it's time of need. We are still negotiating for the land but things seem to be falling in place for us.

I have mentioned to some folks that, with the addition of another relay, we might need to alter the course of fire. I was only worried about Saturday's matches, but now I believe we will be good as we go to 3 relays instead of the planned 2 relays. The course of fire will be as published in the initial program, 3 ea 20 shot strings on Saturday and 2 ea 20 shot strings on Sunday per shooter.

Now that we will have a longer day on Saturday, I have made arrangements to have pulled pork sandwiches, chips and bottled water available for lunch on Saturday, $10. This guy makes some really good barbecue and he will have his award winning sauces and rubs available for sale also. Please let me know by email if you will want the lunch so we will be sure to have enough prepared.

Commemorative T-shirts (picture attached) will be available for sale, $20 each, 2 for $35. If you email me that you want one, let me know the size and we will be sure to save the T-shirt(s) for you.

Thanks so much for attending this match, these benefit matches will be a big help in getting the burden of the mortgage off our shoulders. We will try to have at least two benefit matches a year. We are thinking about a fullbore format benefit match in the spring, two to a mound. I know a lot of the F-Class shooters have little or no experience shooting fullbore, myself included. I think it will give everyone more experience in that format and perhaps improve some wind reading skills also. At the team match, let me know if you would come down for a two day fullbore match in the spring.

Thanks again

Skip,Jason and I was wondering since PJ is not gonna be there if you can call the wind for us...you know being team members and all and if not just pull targets for us:D:D
Otis, Try to get Skip to squad Tommy and I next to you, I'd be happy to call wind for you and Jason. BUT!, you have to shoot what I call.....

T-Bones only for me!!!

Skip I'll let you know on teammate by Monday. I think Joe Myers is going to shoot with me as it stands right now..
