2019 Four States Two-Man Team Championship

Hmm, what we have here is two teams who have a hankering for some Crackerjacks! Wait, we have more! Brian Harder and another National Guarder is coming for the match also. Brian is technically a Team Indiana shooter. So that is 2 Team Indiana teams and 3 Team Texas Teams. You guys need to choose which team you have a Crackerjacket bet with.

I guess with PJ's 100-7 and Greg's 200-18 groups.. me and Todd are going to need to bring our special sauce bullets to have a chance at not going home with Cracker Jack's!o_O

Update: This match is close to being full. There are 10 teams that have told me they were coming but have yet to send the entry and/or payment. If you are one of those teams, please understand you have not secured a spot in this match and you might be replaced by a paid entry between now and the week of the match.

Hey folks, time to think about that day in November, it has been 6 weeks since you have shot a match, you bagged your monster deer 3 weeks ago on opening weekend, you have nothing to do and Thanksgiving is not till next weekend. Oh wait, there's that fun two-man team match I went to last year, I can do that. DO THAT! We are going to do it again!

I'm in the Northeast so I have no dog in this match but I love the idea of this match.

I am the Range Governor for a 16 firing point 600 yard range pits and with firing lines at 200, 300, 500 and 600 yards.
I was able to get Shotmarker targets funded last year to outfit the range which has been a welcome addition to all but the 1% that do not like change (period).

I am the match Director for all of my clubs 80 rd NRA and CMP Cross the course matches but I also assist with all the prone only matches.

What I wanted to say is I love the idea of a match like this as something new to implement at my club / range primarily to foster the team spirit and generate needed revenue to keep the range sustainable.
I'm glad I came across this thread.

This match was absolutely the most fun match ever.

Panola is a neat range, Skip does a great job organizing and running it and the participants are good folks and top notch shooters.

Plus, the BBQ was good and you get a cool T-shirt out of it.

My son and I are on the wait list so we’re keeping our fingers crossed

Just around the corner ladies and gentlemen...gonna be several dog fights going on fo sure..:D

Ya don't say..........mine said wake me up when it's over.:D:D

As I posted back on Sept 5th I'm think this match format is a great idea and I may look to work something like this into the 2020 Schedule up here in the Northeast. My Twist would be to make it an event that gets fired at 3 different ranges in 3 different states on consecutive days like over a holiday weekend like Labor Day. If I get interest in this from fellow my fellow match directors at the two other 600 yard clubs within a 1.5 hr drive from my Range I think people would love it.

2 Person teams and Prizes would be based on total Score so would have to shoot all 3 States matches to have a chance to win.
Each of the 3 clubs have ShotMarker Electronic Targets so the matches could go Fairly Quickly

My Range is in Southern New Hampshire https://nfga.org/leveridge-range/
The two other Ranges would be in Scarborough Maine and Reading Massachusetts

Or just do it on a regular weekend with Just my club and Reading Rifle where these two 600 yard ranges are only 45 mins apart.

Sorry for the kinda off topic, To get back on topic for this thread...

Will the results for this match be posted here or online anywhere?
I'd be interested to see the number of shooters / teams that attend and the scores

What are the prizes / payouts?
Is that pre determined before the match starts or does it get adjusted depending on actual turnout?

Thank You,
George
